Another fantastic NYD Event at Flat Nasty has come and gone.
Thanks to Ron and Sheila for the Hog Roast Dinner...very tasty!

Carnage Report:
Steven broke his front driveshaft CV on Papa Bear.
He was able to snag another CV from a local salvage yard to repair.
Kyle broke a main leaf in the driver's leaf pack on Trail 14.
He (luckily) had a spare which we swapped out.
I broke a few teeth off the front D60 ring gear while front diggin' out of Trail 17.
Didn't have a spare one of those so just kept wheelin it.
I still crawled Baby Bear while poppin' and bangin'. _________________ "I will be down there with the backhole."

How did the modification to the power steering pump work out?

After 4 years on a Spicer 4.56 gear set, we finally snapped it.
I don't like weak links...I need to find something stronger!
Not sure what is in the plans just yet.
Steering works better than ever.
The small mods I did allow me to steer lock to lock almost as fast
as I can possibly spin the wheel- even at idle.
When the steering valve gets swapped out, the full hydraulic steering will be dialed in perfect. _________________ "I will be down there with the backhole."
